2011 Geiger Mustang GT

Although Ford has a strong handle on the American Muscle Car title with the 2011 Mustang GT, the car is not just for the United States.  A foreign tuner known as Geiger Cars has announced their own special edition 2011 Mustang GT, crammed full of goodies, including a super charger.

Go fast goodies on the 2011 Mustang tuned by Geiger include a 2.3 liter super charger that pushes the 5.0 engine to 500 horsepower.  In addition, Geiger has removed the speed limiter and claim a top speed now of up 170 mph.

In addition to power add ons, Geiger has outfitted the 2011 Mustang with some new shoes.  The rims are called OZ Ultralegerra and are extremely light weight, but not small on size.  Wheel sizes for the front are 8.5″ x 20″ and 10″x20″ in the back.  The wheels set the 2011 Mustang GT off from the rest of the pack and will hopefully continue to popularize the Pony car in Europe.

2011 Shelby GT500 Convertible

Wrapped in a light blue color, the new 2011 Shelby GT500 Convertible is the ultimate cruising vehicle.  Forget your worries, put the loud pedal to the floor, and let the wind rip through your hair.  Who wouldn’t want to own such an amazing car, which is destined to be an icon?

Sure, for a $60,000 price tag, it’s not the least expensive 2011 Mustang on the market, but look at all the goodies you get.  For starters, the 2011 Shelby GT500 Convertible comes loaded with all the SVT go fast goodies.  Forget the standard GT V8 400 horsepower, the 2011 Shelby GT500 pumps out a whopping 550 horses.  Furthermore, the suspension is tuned to handle the extra power and provide a smooth cruising machine.

Unlike the 2011 Mustang GT, the 2011 Shelby GT500 features a 5.4 liter super charged mill, capable of over 500 lb ft of torque.  Also, because of the larger displacement and forced induction, you can forget about the 26 miles per gallon advertised on the standard V8.  Shelby estimates mileage at around 18 mpg, of course those willing to flop down the cash shouldn’t be concerned with the lower efficiency.

2011 Mustang Boss 302R

Rumor has it, Ford is prepping a 2011 Boss 302R to be street legal.  Right now Ford has released a 302R made specifically for racing, which is outfitted with roll cage, safety harnesses, and other components that allow it to compete in official racing events.  Unfortunately some of the power and performance components don’t make it legal to drive on the roads with us slower passenger vehicles.

Below is a pic of the 2011 Mustang Boss 302R, which may or may not be tweaked to be street legal.  Wipe the spit off your chin and stop breathing out of your mouth, it’s just a rumor for now.

2011 Red Mustang

You’ll find photos of 2011 red Mustangs in this post, along with information on red color options for both the 2011 Mustang V6 and GT models.  There are two basic red color combination’s, which include Race Red and Red Candy Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.  Over all there are a total of 8 color options for the 2011 Mustang, but just the two above have red in them.

2011 Red Mustang Options

Both colors above are available on both the GT and V6.  Below are a few examples and photos of the 2011 red Mustang.  All colors look good and I’ve dubbed Race Red as Pull-Me-Over Red. ;)
