2011 Geiger Mustang GT

Although Ford has a strong handle on the American Muscle Car title with the 2011 Mustang GT, the car is not just for the United States.  A foreign tuner known as Geiger Cars has announced their own special edition 2011 Mustang GT, crammed full of goodies, including a super charger.

Go fast goodies on the 2011 Mustang tuned by Geiger include a 2.3 liter super charger that pushes the 5.0 engine to 500 horsepower.  In addition, Geiger has removed the speed limiter and claim a top speed now of up 170 mph.

In addition to power add ons, Geiger has outfitted the 2011 Mustang with some new shoes.  The rims are called OZ Ultralegerra and are extremely light weight, but not small on size.  Wheel sizes for the front are 8.5″ x 20″ and 10″x20″ in the back.  The wheels set the 2011 Mustang GT off from the rest of the pack and will hopefully continue to popularize the Pony car in Europe.

First Super Charger For 2011 Mustang GT

ProCharger has tested and released the very first super charger for the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0.  The ProCharger is considered to be the first to market for the 2011 Mustang, because the only other supercharger available now is for the Shelby, which sports a 5.4 liter V8 instead of a 5.0.  ProCharger feels that not only are they the first to market, but because of their 16+ years of experience int eh forced induction market, that theirs will remain the top charger for the new Mustang.

The new supercharger is built around the P-1SC-1 charger, which features an 8 rib drive capable of pushing 7 psi of boost.  This extremely conservative boost figure is capable of adding a whopping 140 hp to your already very capable 5.0 liter engine.

Flavors available for the new ProCharger kit are an HO Intercooled System and available is a complete Tuner Kit.  The Tuner Kit comes with every 2011 Mustang part necessary to install the super charger and start hitting the streets.  Items like a air-to-air intercooler, tubing, brackets, 53 lb injectors, bypass valve, and even a computer programmer comes with the 2011 Mustang GT Tuner Kit.

Be prepared to spend upwards of $5,000-6,000 for this 2011 Mustang 5.0 super charger.

Build Your Own 2011 Mustang GT

Tripping over how awesome the new 5.0 liter 2011 Mustang GT is, but wish it came in a different wrapper?  Dreams do come true and the all new 5.0 liter engine is available for purchase from Ford Racing for just $6999.

The availability of the 5.0 liter crate motor means anybody can purchase all the engineering developed and put into the return of the 5-oh.  Wish that 99-04 Mustang came with a 5.0 instead of the tiny 4.6?  No worries, for a little cash you can now outfit that 99 GT with a naturally aspirated 5.0 complete with 400 ponies and enough torque to blow skirts off.

Stay tuned to the 2011 Mustang Parts section for the latest aftermarket parts information.

2011 Ford Mustang SR-71

Jack Roush and Carroll Shelby are teaming up to make one of the baddest mustangs ever built, the 2011 Mustang SR-71.  Nicknamed the Blackbird, this 2011 special edition Mustang will feature matte black finishes with silver accents, mimicking the USAF aircraft by the same name.

Performance wise the 2011 SR-71 will feature the all new 5.0 liter engine, but will be wearing a 2.3 liter Whipple Twin-Screw supercharger as a hat.  The Whipple supercharger will then be mounted on top of Roush engineered intake, no doubt creating crazy horsepower, which numbers have yet to be released.  Furthermore, enthusiasts will be able to order the SR-71 with Ford Racings handling pack, to complete the special edition Mustang.

Although pictures and specific details about the interior have yet to be released, we do know that the seats will be made by Recaro.  The seats will also be embroidered with the signatures of Jack Roush and Carroll Shelby, making any Mustang fanboy giggle like a school girl.  When it’s all said and done the dashboard will also be decked out with more than enough performance gauges and even a built in navigation system.  This will be one bad 2011 Mustang.

The 2011 Ford Mustang SR-71 is nicknamed the ‘Blackbird’, but should it’s surname be?  A Roulby, a Sheush, or just badass!?
